Lemon Salt/ Nimbu Satt is a common food additive for its flavour and preservative properties. The formulation is composed in such a way that it stabilizes all the active ingredients in a product. Since it’s naturally sour in flavour, it is used in many sour dishes and to impart a tart flavour to baking dishes. It adds an acidic or sour taste to the meat, candy, soft drinks, and ice cream and is widely used in bread making, conserving, and jarring.
